About the thumb knob maker
Turn any nut or bolt into a hand knob. The nut drops into a pocket and a press-in cap keeps it there, or it is sealed inside during the print. Pick the thread size, the diameter and the number of grip lobes.
- With the cap: drop the nut in, press the cap on. Push a bolt through first and you have a thumb screw.
- Sealed inside: pause the print at the height shown, drop the nut in, resume.
- Use “Cut open” to see the nut inside the knob.
