About the timing-belt harmonic drive maker

This drive uses an ordinary closed timing belt, teeth facing out, instead of a printed flexible cup. Two rings with slightly different groove counts and an arm with two bearings give a ratio of half the belt tooth count.

  • Choose the belt type and tooth count printed on your belt.
  • The fixed ring has two more grooves than the belt.
  • It has not been test-printed: print one ring first and check the belt fits the grooves.
